Problem Statement

Traditional Business cards are a relic from the past

In our digital world, the importance of business cards as a marketing and networking tool is diminishing. The contents of a card cannot be accessed digitally by the recipients, which is a barrier to saving or contacting new contacts. Referrals and recommendations are cumbersome because business cards are difficult to duplicate and pass on. Business cards used to be a representative medium, but they don't offer enough space for today's multitude of digital channels and accounts like LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and such.

Contact details are changing faster than ever

Frequent changes to contact data, such as job title, workplace, phone number or even corporate design cause old business cards to become unusable and outdated data remains with the counterpart. In addition, the change is time-consuming and involves several actors and cost centers such as graphic designers and printing companies. Hub.cards provides solutions for modern contact exchange as a platform with apps for iOS, Android, Mac, Windows and on the web, thus modernizing the traditional business card.

Digitization

When it comes to digitizing business cards, hub.cards offers two options:

• Scan your existing paper business cards in seconds, enrich it with additional digital information and share them online.
• Or, with the help of the specially developed design editor, create a new card that can also be shared digitally or used as a conventional business card. A QR-code on the card refers to the digital clone of the card. This makes it as easy as possible for the recipient to save your contact details.

Digital Business Card

A digital business card is particularly appealing due to the possibility of bundling all contact information such as job, addresses, telephone numbers, but also social media or other digital services in one place and passing it on to other people in its entirety. Of course, all information can be updated or extended at any time. This way, even older contacts always have your latest information.

Sharing

Each digital business card is nothing more than a small website. Each card therefore also has an individual link (e.g. https://hub.cards/demo_fracis.scott). There are now completely new ways to share your business card. The annoyance of forgetting the stack of business cards at an important business lunch is a thing of the past. Your own QR-code can be shared reliably and quickly via your mobile phone or smart watch. Of course, this also works in a Zoom meeting or as an email signature. If you share the business card via a messenger such as WhatsApp or Telegram, a preview of your own design is shown to make a professional digital impression.

Smart Address book

Easily keep track of the people you meet with a chronological timeline of who you met and when. With hub.cards, all your contacts are stored in our encrypted, modern cloud, where you can access them at any time on any device. This way you can group, sort, filter and search your contacts on the go, in the office or at home. Your new contact manager is self-healing, which means that whenever a contact changes any information, your address book will update itself.
