How can I download/use hub.cards?

You can download the hub.cards app for free in the App Store, Mac App Store and Windows Store. You can also use hub.cards on the web.

Which languages are supported in the app?

We want to support as many languages as possible, currently we are supporting the following languages: English (U.S.), Chinese (Simplified), Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Spanish (Spain)

In case your language is not supported yet, or you find wrong translations, please reach out to our support (support@hubcards.freshdesk.com) an we will try to help you with your request.

I’m running into a problem, how do I contact customer support?

Digital Business Card

How can I get digital business card?

When you start with hub.cards you will be guided through a simple process that allows you to design a new business card. You can choose from many beautiful templates or create your own. Then you can digitally add as much information as you want, such as addresses, emails, website, social media, or notes.

What are the advantages of a digital business card?

Every business card at hub.cards is also a small website with a unique address like: https://hub.cards/jane.doe. This has the advantage that you can share them digitally everywhere. It also allows you to include all the information that would otherwise never fit on your business card. More importantly, you can update your information at any time and all your previous recipients will always have your latest contact details.

Can I use my own logo/design?

There are no limits when designing your card. With our specially designed editor, designing your new business card is easy and professional at the same time. Of course, you can use your own images, logos, or icons.

I already have a paper business card, can I still use hub.cards?

Yes, absolutely! With our iOS app you can scan your card in a few seconds and digitize it. Furthermore, you can store all information such as your addresses or social media and conveniently share it as a digital business card.

Can I see who is actually using my business card?

A big advantage of a digital business card is that we can measure for you how often your card is used, so you know how effective you are. For example, we also store the country and city from which your card was viewed. Of course, we also take into account the privacy of all and anonymize data.

How much does it cost?

A digital business card is permanently free at hub.cards! You can also download and use all apps for free. Only certain features like premium designs, an individual address or a QR code on your Apple Watch can be unlocked with a subscription for only 2€ per month.

Can I make digital business cards without downloading the app?

Absolutely! You can make and share your own digital business cards on any computer with the hub.cards website. We recommend that you download our free Mac or Windows App, to have the best experience designing your card. In case you want to scan & digitize your existing card it’s best to download our iOS or Android app. Like that your cards will be available to you when you’re on the go, too.

What if my data (e.g. telephone number) changes?

For example, if your phone number changes, you used to have to reprint all your business cards. That's a lot of effort and also not good for the environment. With your digital business card you can change all information and even the design at any time. Each of your existing contacts will automatically have access to your latest data.

What is the best way to share my card?

With a hub.card you have infinitely more possibilities to share your contact. Of course, you can still print it. With a linked QR-Code, everyone can easily reach your digital card. But you can also share your business card on messengers like WhatsApp or Telegram. Embed it in an email signature or another website. Put it into your Bio on Instagram, to share with our followers all they need to know about you. You can even add your QR-Code to the background on Zoom to share your contact with everyone in a meeting.

When I share my card does the receiver need to be registered or download anything?

No, hub.cards is built so that a recipient of your card does not need to install anything or register with hub.cards. Your digital business card is just a normal website that can be viewed on any device.

Can anybody access my hub.card?

There is no search function in hub.cards, neither can it be found on Google. If you share your unique address of your card, however, anyone how knows the address can access your business card. This way, your receivers can also easily recommend you to others, too.

Can I also print my hub.cards business card?

You can export the image files of your hub.card in your My hub.cards overview and print them on your own printer or send them to a print shop of your choice. We are also working on an easy way to order printed business cards through our platform soon.

What can I add to my digital business card?

Storing Contacts

Where are my contacts stored?

We store your contacts securely in our encrypted cloud on servers in the European Union, so you can access your data on all your devices. A copy of your contacts is also stored on your device so you can access them offline.

Can I export my contacts?

You can export any saved contact. Click on the contact and select 'Download vCard' in the web or desktop app, or 'Add to Phone' in your smartphone app. This file can be imported from address books such as Outlook or your internal address book on your smartphone. An export function of all contacts will follow soon. Stay tuned!

Can I import contacts?

At the moment, you can create individual contacts and digitize physical business cards, for example, with our scan app. Importing contacts from other address books is not yet possible. If you are interested in this feature, please contact our support (support@hubcards.freshdesk.com) so we can prioritize it.

How many contacts can I store?

You can store unlimited contacts and sync them across all your devices.

Subscription

What benefits do I unlock with hub.cards premium?

With your subscription you unlock all current and future features. Here is a list of the current ones:

- Claim a unique address for your digital business card like: hub.cards/jane.doe

- Unlock all premium designs

- Create more than one card

- Improved analytics for your business card

- Apple Watch app and home screen widgets for easy sharing of your card.

Why do I have to pay for some features?

The additional functions are associated with extra costs for us. The operation of hub.cards also generates high costs. We want to avoid using ads to provide the best possible experience for all users. Also, for the people you share your business card with. Your subscription helps us to compensate these costs.

Is there a free trial available?

Yes! You can sign up for a 7-day free trial of the annual premium subscription. Once the free trial is over, a payment will be automatically initiated for the next year. You can cancel at any time. However, the free trial is offered just once.

Can I use the same subscription on other devices?

hub.cards supports all major platforms and devices such as: iPhones, iPads, Apple Watch, Android smartphones, Mac & Windows(10/11) computers and all Internet-capable devices. You can use your subscription on all of them without any problem!

How does payment and subscription renewal work?

You will always receive an email before your subscription renews so you never miss a payment. Payment will be charged from your selected payment method (Apple/Google Account, or credit card/PayPal on the hub.cards website) at the confirmation of purchase. The subscription lasts for either 1 month or 1 year (depending on the duration you select). Your subscription will automatically renew each month or each year and be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Can I turn off auto-renewal of the subscription?

Yes, you can turn off auto-renewal at any time, just visit 'Manage Subscription' in the app settings and follow the instructions. You can also manage your subscriptions in the respective app store page.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time. The best way is to go to the app settings and open 'Manage subscription'. If you cancel your subscription, you can use the premium features until the end of the term.

If I purchase a monthly subscription, can I switch to a yearly subscription later?

In case you purchased your subscription with your Apple or Google account. Just visit 'Manage Subscription' in the app settings which links you to the App Store's subscription management screen, where you can select the subscription duration that you'd like to switch to. The upgrade will go into effect on your next renewal date.

Where can I find my receipt?

For purchases made on the App Store or iTunes

Head to reportaproblem.apple.com to find your receipt. When you open the page, enter the Apple ID and password that you used to buy the subscription, then choose Sign In.

- If you are on your iPhone or iPad, tap the Menu button then Receipts to see a list of your receipts.

- If you are on a Mac or PC, click Receipts. Your receipt might not yet be available if you made the purchase recently.

For purchases made on the Google Play Store, head to payments.google.com to find your receipt:

1. Click on “Other purchase activity”

2. Select “View purchases”

3. Select the order for hub.cards to see your receipt, including the GPA number

If you purchased your subscription via our website, please check your email for the receipt or open “Manage Subscription” in the app settings.

Which payment methods do you accept?

If you are purchasing your subscription on the Apple App Store or iTunes, you can read more about Apple's accepted payment methods here.

If you are purchasing your subscription on the Google Play Store, you can read more about Google's accepted payment methods here.

In case you need an alternative, we also accept payments in EUR, USD, CAD, AUD, GBP, CHF, BRL, DKK, CZK,MXN, DKK, HKD, HUF, SEK, INR, ILS, JPY, KRW, NOK, NZD, PLN, RUB, SGD, THB, TRY, TWD, UAH, BRL, CNY, ZAR and ARS by credit card or Paypal for subscriptions purchased on our website or Windows App.

How do I claim a refund?

If you are purchasing your subscription on the Apple App Store or iTunes, or Google Play Store unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with a refund directly. To claim a refund contact Apple here and Google here.

There is a good reason why we can't do this for you - Apple's & Google’s privacy policies restrict our access to your payment, as well as the payment details linked to your account. This means that only they are able to process a refund for you.

If you purchased your subscription via our website contact our support at support@hubcards.freshdesk.com to request a refund.

Does deleting the app cancel my subscription?

No, deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

Account

How do I change my email address?

You can change your email address in our apps and products by navigating into the settings. In our mobile apps you can find them on the third tab in the top right corner. On our Website and Desktop apps you can simply find them at your profile image in the top right corner. Remember, the email address associated with your account is used for logging in and for all communications.

How do I change my password?

You can find a “Forgot your password?” Link next to every Login window. You can reset your password here), too.

How do I log out?

You can log out from our apps and products by navigating into the settings. In our mobile apps you can find them on the third tab in the top right corner. After clicking your name in in the top section, you will see a logout button. On our Website and Desktop apps you can simply find them at your profile image in the top right corner.

How do I delete my account?

We’d love for you to stay, if there’s anything we can do to make your experience better please email us at support@hubcards.freshdesk.com. If you’re set on deleting your account, email us and we will follow your wish immediately.

How do I unsubscribe from marketing emails?

We do not send intrusive advertising messages! But of course you have the option to click 'unsubscribe' on every email we send to not receive any emails from us at all.

Privacy

Does hub.cards sell my personal information?

No. Your personal information is, well, personal. It’s not in our business to sell anyone’s information. Especially as a European company, the data protection of our customers has the highest priority, and we do everything technically possible to protect your data in the best possible way.

What kind of data is collected?

We primarily store the data you want to be displayed on your digital business card. In addition, we store data about the use of our apps on a voluntary basis. For all details, please refer to our privacy policy.

Where is my data stored?

Our servers are positioned exclusively in Europe. We are convinced that the highest standards for data security and data protection apply here. In addition, all your data is encrypted and protected against attacks.
